The four-day-long 73nd China International Medical Equipment Fair (Spring session) and 20th China International Component Manufacturing & Design Show (spring session) wrapped up in Shanghai ‘s International Expo Center on May 18 2015. For this Fair, the total exhibition area reached 290,000 square meters. More than 6,800 booths were set up for 3,800 exhibitors from more than 140 countries.

Themed “creative technology, innovative medical treatments”, this Fair showed off the latest technological achievements and innovative products in the field of medical technology, which covered the whole production -study – research industry chain, such as medical imaging, “in vitro” diagnostics, medical electronics, medical optics, operating room and first aid, rehabilitation, medical information technology, medical suppliers,medical device, orthopedics, hospital equipment and outsourcing services. 500 advanced medical products made their first global appearance.

Benefiting from the first-class exhibition facilities of Shanghai’s International Expo Center, this Fair’s total exhibition area reached a historical high. In addition, more than 100 academic conferences were hosted and more than 300 speakers delivered speeches.
